Recently, because of tv makeover shows, many people now have boring white acrylic bathtubs in shiny white bathrooms which are tiled from top to bottom - or have laminate flooring. Because we have the luxury of space and solid wood floors, we're looking for something which has more style and which will look good in 100 years from now.
Vintage bathtubs stand out as being a great investment and are going to complement the style of our house. Instead of being something hidden away it's going to be the center piece of the room! When you start to look around, there's a great variety of tubs on offer, from pedestal or clawfoot bathtubs to slipper tubs. Not only this but instead of being made out of the same basic white plastic, they're made out of copper, cast iron, stone and marble! Instead of being something to be embarrassed about they're worth bragging about!
